PROTEST AGAINST KENYA POWER AND LIGHTING COMPANY (KPLC)

On 06th August 2020, led by our Executive Director we joined other Human Rights Organizations and the people of Kwale County in a PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATION against Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC), who have been reluctant in service delivery.

The DEMO was provoked after a 34-year-old mother and her 3-months child died last Friday, after being electrocuted by sagging cables at Bowa, Kombani in Kwale County.
A memorandum was submitted to the KPLC Board Chairperson so that they can act on the issue put forward.
