TRAUMA AND COVID-19 AWARENESS

Image
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, many families have been affected socially and economically leading to psychological effects including cases of trauma within families. This is what led to our Organization to organize an activity dubbed “Trauma and COVID-19 Awareness” with an aim of creating awareness basically on the effects of Trauma with regards to the novel virus . We narrowed down to the mitigation measures of how to stay safe, fit, and healthy during this period of the global pandemic by taking participants through the focal steps of ensuring everyone is out of danger of the novel virus. On the Trauma aspect our guest SambaSports Youth Agenda, Partnership Advisor - Mr. Mohamed Mwachausa took the participants through what is trauma, types of trauma, causes of trauma, how trauma manifests in human life, and finally how to cope with trauma.
